The EU right of withdrawal button for online commerce.

EU-ångerrättsknappen vid handel online.

On June 19, 2026, the rules will be updated to strengthen consumer protection in online commerce. For e-retailers, the most concrete change is the introduction of a cancellation function to make it easier for consumers to exercise their already statutory right of withdrawal.

The updated rules are an EU directive and entail clarified and partly new technical and practical requirements for companies selling goods and services online. One of the clearest changes is the requirement for a withdrawal function that allows the customer to withdraw from the agreement directly online. The function, the so-called withdrawal button, must be easy to find, allow the customer to confirm contract details, and provide an immediate acknowledgment of receipt.

New rules regarding the right of withdrawal

The requirement for a withdrawal button applies to all goods and services that are already covered by the right of withdrawal today, and the main rule, as before, is that the consumer has 14 calendar days to withdraw from a distance contract from the date the contract is concluded.

We strive for full transparency and clear communication regarding the new EU regulation on the withdrawal button. To ensure that you, as a customer, always feel completely secure with your purchase from us, we have therefore placed information about the right of withdrawal — including the withdrawal button and form — in four different places on our website. This way, we ensure that you can quickly and easily find the right path no matter where you are in the purchasing process.

The withdrawal button and form are available in four (!) different places:

  • In your order confirmation.
  • Under the "Contact" tab, where you then select "Right of Withdrawal".
  • Under our "Contact Us" form, where you will find the section Withdraw a purchase agreement and can click on "Register Withdrawal" to fill in your request.
  • Under the "About" tab, you can easily find the form.
